World-class care leads to unprecedented outcomes

The most effective protocol to accelerate weaning and recovery.

Founded in 1991, TriVent Healthcare (formerly Special Care Unit) and its hundreds of employees are recognized as the leader in ventilator liberation. By stripping away distance and distractions, we deliver multiple therapies several times a day. This intensive approach has proven to be the most effective protocol to accelerate weaning and recovery while reducing hospital readmissions.

The secret to our success is assembling a 100% dedicated team whose sole accountability is to care for and ultimately discharge ventilator-dependent patients.

Nurse

The TriVent team includes:

We employ a wide variety of medical professionals including:

  • Registered Nurses trained in Critical Care and Rehabilitative medicine
  • Respiratory Therapists
  • Speech Pathologists
  • Occupational Therapists
  • Physical Therapists
  • Primary Physicians
  • Nurse Case Managers

What’s more, our respiratory therapists are required to have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with ventilator-dependent patients. All our nurses and respiratory therapists must be ACLS certified and all Patient Care Technicians must have a current BLS certification.

Beyond these criteria is the requirement to demonstrate compassion and commitment to deliver care to our standards. Only the best become members of our team.

Our Mission

We are guided by a commitment to excellence and patient recovery that is unmatched anywhere in the industry. Our weaning protocols include advanced therapies by highly trained clinicians, resulting in far better patient outcomes and significant value to hospitals. We improve recovery time, reduce hospital length of stay, and lower readmissions of medically complex patients. Our goal is to successfully reunite patients with their families.

Case Studies

While each patient and condition is unique, our approach remains the same: quality first, last, and always, with a singular focus on ventilator liberation.
